Flexicose For Joint Health

Flexicose Liquid Glucosamine

We think Flexicose is a great product. We use it daily and give it to our older dogs too. We are true believers in the power of glucosamine! If you haven’t tried it yet, we’d like to take some time here and tell you all about the Flexicose product.

Flexicose can be taken by almost anyone with no side effects! That is one of the best qualities of Flexicose. Only those who are allergic to shellfish, pregnant or nursing, or diabetic should consult their doctor before taking the product. Glucosamine is considered by the medical community to be safe with no major side effects reported.

What is the dosage of Flexicose?

Each serving of Flexicose contains only 10 calories. And each serving contains 1,500 mg of Glucosamine Sulfate and HCL, 120mg of Chondroitin Sulfate, and more than 1,500mg of its flexibility complex which contains Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Aloe Vera, Boswellia Serrata, MSM, Yucca, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin A and Manganese.

Flexicose is Easy to Take!

The bottle Flexicose comes in has a special measuring spout built into it. It is marked with ¼ oz and ½ oz lines to make measuring out your dosage very easy. Simply open the reservoir cap, squeeze the bottle and fill the dispensing reservoir to the needed level. Then just pour it out into juice, water or a spoon. Or for pets, simply pour it over their food at meal time. We take our Flexicose in orange juice each morning. You may take the single dose of Flexicose any time of the day, and there is no need to split the dosage up during the day. A single dose per day is all that is recommended.

Why is Glucosamine so Important?

Glucosamine is a type of sugar found naturally in the body which is important in the formation and repair of cartilage. Glucosamine aids in the stimulation of water binding molecules within the cartilage tissue. It also lowers the presence of destructive enzymes which harm cartilage. Basically, glucosamine supplies your body with the needed building blocks and raw materials to naturally rebuild its cartilage. It also aids in the formation of ligaments, tendons, and nails. It has so few side effects since it is a natural compound found in the body. The older one gets, the less glucosamine the body produces. Supplements like Flexicose aid in restoring these building blocks which decrease with age. Research has shown that supplementing with glucosamine can slow and oftentimes actually reverse the deterioration of joints. Flexicose contains very high grade glucosamine for the maximum possible benefits.

Cartilage is important to the body! In the joints, where bones come together, cartilage is works in keeping them from rubbing together and causing pain. If cartilage breaks down, bone spurs may occur and the joint can become inflamed. This can be very painful and is accompanied with stiffness. In many clinical studies, glucosamine has been shown to slow and even turn around the degeneration of cartilage.

Flexicose Also Contains Chondroitin

Chondroitin is a component found in cartilage. It is a very large molecule made up of repeating chains of glucosamine sulfate. It functions in much the same way as glucosamine, and studies have shown the availability of chondroitin delivered in liquid form can be best absorbed by the body. Flexicose contains 120mg of chondroitin in each serving. Since Flexicose is a liquid, the chondroitin is very well absorbed. 120mg is as much as the body needs per day. There is simply no need to take a supplement which contains more chondroitin than 120mg.

What About Glucosamine HCL?

Flexicose contains both glucosamine sulfate and HCL. These two different forms of glucosamine are in Flexicose because of the way they affect different people. Some people simply respond better to one or the other form. Flexicose includes both types to ensure everyone will achieve the best possible results. There are never any salts of glucosamine added to Flexicose. Although more studies have been done on the sulfate form, the HCL form is definitely found to be more effective in some people than the sulfate form.

What About Arthritis?

There is no known cure for Arthritis. No product available can cure arthritis. There are many prescription drugs available to mask the pain of arthritis. Almost all these drugs have the potential to cause serious side effects and sometimes even death. The glucosamine in Flexicose can not only ease the pain of arthritis, it can slow down its progression. No, it won’t stop it or eliminate it, but it can slow it down. Glucosamine can aid in the regeneration of damaged cartilage to a certain extent.

What About MSM?

Methylsulfonylmethane, also known as MSM, is important in supplying the body with sulfur which is the fourth most common mineral in the body. MSM is related to the famous compound, DMSO. In studies with animals, joints which are in pain have a lower content of sulfur. Although only in the preliminary stages, research trials suggest that MSM can reduce the pain in joints in six weeks. MSM is usually thought of as a helper in the battle against joint pain and works best when used with Glucosamine and not alone.

What About the Other Ingredients of Flexicose?

Besides glucosamine, Flexicose also contains more than ten other ingredients important for joint health. Manganese Ascorbate is important in the formation of cartilage and ligaments. It is important for keeping bones strong and is a key ingredient in preventing or slowing down osteoarthritis. Aloe Vera is effective in reducing swelling and inflammation in joints. Aloe Vera has been used throughout recorded history for its medicinal purposes. It is very good source of vitamin B12 and has many other important minerals.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids are very much in the news recently. They not only reduce inflammation, they promote blood flow and are known for reducing of Coronary Heart Disease. Everyone should take Omega 3 even if they don’t feel the need to take glucosamine for their joints. Almost all heart doctors now recommend taking Omega 3 daily. As a side note, Omega 6 supplements should not be taken. The body usually has plenty already, and taking too much can actually cause joint pain.

Flexicose also contains Boswellia which is another anti-inflammatory product effective in fighting joint pain. Also, research has shown that long term use of Boswellia poses no risk as does the long term use of NSAID’s (which can cause ulcerations in the stomach). Flexicose also contains Niacinamide which is a type of vitamin B3 and is thought to stimulate the adrenal gland to release natural anti-inflammatory compounds. Additionally, Flexicose contains Vitamin C, A, and E. Vitamin C, a water soluble compound is used by the body for the growth and repair of body tissues. It’s very important for wound healing and for the repair of bone and cartilage tissue. It’s used in the formation of collagen, tendons, ligaments, skin and blood vessels. It also is an antioxidant used to combat free radicals within the body. Vitamin A is important in the formation of bones and helps reduce joint pain. It also is an antioxidant as important in preventing the reduction of bone mass. Vitamin E is another antioxidant important in fighting joint pain. It has been shown to be as effective as some of the NSAID’s used to treat pain.

Flexicose contains yucca which not only aids in the relief of joint pain, it also fights the release of intestinal substances which inhibit the formation of cartilage.

Flexicose Works For Pets Too

Almost a third of our customers buy Flexicose for either their pets or for themselves and their pets. Flexicose is great for dogs and cats with arthritis! It has no dangerous side effects like prescription drugs can have. (Prescription drugs and Aspirin can and have killed dogs and cats with their side effects.) Not only does the glucosamine in Flexicose ease the pain of arthritis, it can actually turn around the negative process within your pet. Flexicose is also very easy to give to your pet. Being a liquid, it can simply be poured over your pet’s food at meal time. Dogs rarely care or even act like they know it is on their food. Some cats may be finicky. You may try purchasing some of the new “pet steak sauce” available at places like PetSmart, and pour some of this product over the Flexicose.

There Is Only One Formula of Flexicose

Some sites sell three versions of Flexicose. They offer Flexicose (the regular formula), Flexicose for Pets, and Flexicose for Athletes. There is no difference between these formulas. They simply divide them up for marketing reasons. At our house, we simply open one bottle at a time and “share” it with our pets.

Liquid Flexicose is a Better Choice

Absorption is the key. Being a liquid, Flexicose offers maximum availability. Pills contain fillers and binders. Being a liquid, Flexicose means you will receive maximum absorption. There are other, cheaper liquid glucosamine formulas, but these contain only glucosamine without the other key ingredients Flexicose offers. Also, one only needs to take one dose a day with Flexicose. If you take glucosamine in pill forms, you will usually need to take 4 or 5 pills a day to get the needed dose. Just pour your one dose in some juice each morning like we do, and that is all you need for a full days dose of glucosamine! Also, there is no need to split up your Flexicose dose. Just one dose per day is all that is needed. There is no benefit to splitting up the dose.

Some people take Flexicose “straight”. Most people, including us, take it in juice each morning. Others mix it with some water or even a soft drink. It is not glycerin based and mixes easily in nearly any beverage. It has a grape flavor and a grape smell.

There are no Drug Interactions

There are no known interactions with Flexicose and medications. If you have specific questions, please consult your doctor. The FDA does not test or rate any supplements. But there have been dozens of studies with glucosamine which show its effectiveness.

We ship to the U.S, Canada, and the U.K.

We ship USPS priority mail to the U.S., so your order of Flexicose will usually arrive in 2 to 4 days. Canadian orders usually take 5 to 7 days, and U.K. orders can take from 5 to 12 days for arrival.

We are most proud of our returning customers. We have many satisfied customers who have ordered from us many times!

Give Flexicose Some Time to Work

When the body is damaged, it takes time to heal. You will not see results overnight with Flexicose. When first starting Flexicose, it is recommended you double the daily dose for yourself or your pet for the first 2 weeks in order to give your body a head start on cartilage repair. After that, most people receive no benefit from continuing the double dose. There is no danger in continuing to double the dose over time. If you experience substantial relief, you may not want to cut back. After some people have been taking Flexicose for some time and have experienced significant relief, they are able to cut the suggested dose in half.

People weighing between 100 and 220 pounds should take ¼ oz per day. There are 32 doses in each bottle. Those weighing over 220 pounds should take ½ oz per day. The dose may be taken any time of the day.

For pets weighing 10 to 40 pounds, the dose is 1/16oz. There are 128 doses per bottle. For dogs weighing 40 to 100 pounds, the dose is 1/8oz with 64 doses per bottle. For dogs weighing over 100 pounds, their dose is ¼ oz with 32 doses per bottle.

Flexicose is a First Class glucosamine supplement. We use it ourselves, we give it to our older dogs, and we have many satisfied customers.
